Analysis of SIC8833 main control chip for Bluetooth electronic scale solution

  As a common measuring tool,the design of electronic scales needs to balance innovation and practicality.The following are some design ideas for electronic scale solutions,aimed at providing new directions for the development of electronic scales.
1、Electronic scale chip selection

Choosing the appropriate chip is the key to the design of electronic scale solutions.In the chip selection,choose the 8-bit MCU chip SIC8833,which is an 8-bit RISC MCU with a 24bit ADC and built-in 8k×16 bit OTP program memory.It is a high-performance,low-power RISC MCU chip with high precision,high stability,and low noise characteristics.It adopts advanced 24 bit ADC technology,which can convert analog signals into digital signals.The MCU is based on the basic premise of fully satisfying the software development and application of electronic scale solutions.

2、Functional innovation

Bluetooth connection:Through Bluetooth connection,the electronic scale can transmit measurement data to devices such as mobile phones,making it convenient for users to analyze and manage data.Meanwhile,mobile apps can also provide users with personalized health advice and exercise plans.

Data analysis:Electronic scales can analyze measurement data and provide users with more health information.For example,by analyzing the trend of weight changes in users,providing them with reasonable dietary and exercise recommendations.

Intelligent control:Electronic scales can be linked with other intelligent devices to achieve intelligent control.For example,electronic scales can be linked with kitchen appliances to automatically adjust cooking parameters based on the weight of ingredients.

3、System architecture design

Sensor module:High precision pressure sensors are selected to sense the weight of objects placed on the scale surface and convert it into corresponding electrical signals for output.The output signal of the sensor is connected to the 24 bit ADC input pin of the SIC8833 chip,and high-precision analog-to-digital conversion is performed using the ADC module inside the chip.In order to improve measurement accuracy,a signal conditioning circuit was designed at the front end of the sensor to amplify,filter,and process the weak signals output by the sensor to meet the requirements of the ADC input signal.

Micro Control Unit(MCU):The SIC8833 chip serves as the core control unit of the entire kitchen electronic scale,responsible for processing and computing the digital signals converted by ADC,and calculating the weight value of the object according to preset algorithms.At the same time,it is also responsible for controlling the display screen to display measurement results,responding to button operations,implementing various functional mode switches,and performing system calibration and other operations.The OTP program memory inside the chip is used to store program code and calibration parameters required for system operation.

Display module:Using the built-in 4×16 LCD display driver or 7×8 LED display driver of SIC8833 chip,connect the corresponding LCD display screen or LED digital tube,and present the weight value calculated by MCU to the user in a clear and intuitive way.The display screen can show weight values,units(such as g,lb,oz,etc.),battery level status,functional mode indicators,and other information.

Button module:Design multiple buttons,such as power button,unit switch button,peel button,mode switch button,etc.,for users to interact with the electronic scale.The button is connected to the I/O port of the SIC8833 chip.When the user presses the button,the generated level change signal is detected by the chip,and the MCU executes the corresponding functional operation according to the preset button processing logic.

Power module:Supports multiple power supply methods,such as battery power(can use dry or rechargeable batteries)and external power adapter power supply.The power module is responsible for converting the input power into a stable voltage suitable for the operation of the chip and other modules,while also having power management functions,such as automatically entering low-power standby mode when the electronic scale is not in operation for a long time to save power.
